You make me feel, you make me feel like an inexperienced mother....

Up until this moment, May 10th, I believed myself to be the champion of potty training. It's on my parent stat card. Throughout the years, I bragged about how I successfully trained my oldest daughter in 2 weeks with NO accidents. I wasn't worried one Jill Scott low note about potty training my youngest when the time came....

Well... now's the time and she ain't trained.

There's something about the holidays that tends to trigger feelings you have of distance and/or family members that passed on. I'm getting hit double with all the wedding planning I'm doing. If you didn't know, I wasn't raised by my biological family. In fact I never "lived" with them. My parents were 19 when they had me and 21 when they had my sister. They were young, dumb and ....... living in Baltimore. They tried by their own accounts to set up house but for whatever reasons it didn't stand. I don't fault them, blame them, or hate them at all. My experiences growing up, good or bad, made makes me the person I am today.

Even though I wasn't one of the Cosbys, I didn't go to Hilman *Kanye stance* I remember some things about my parents as a child.

Toddler speak

Every morning after breakfast, Lady J has a routine established for her tv shows. She asks by name a couple of shows but I'm the only one who is able to translate what she says lol.

Lady J: Elmo World! = Sesame Street (this is an easy one)

Lady J: Hot dog! = Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (named so because the characters sings a song that begins "Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog!)

Lady J: Hi you! = Caillou (you take a guess lol)


See, there's a rhyme and reason to toddler madness :) I never want her to grow up :(

*Ahem* My children

Yeah so, as I mentioned a loooong time ago (probably 20+ blogs before) I'm a mother of 3 precious little adorable girls :) *snatches the word little back* Lady J, my 2 year old, is little :). My oldest, 1st, is 8 and middle daughter, Dancer, is 6. They are the apples of both my eyes, my breath, will for living....

You get the point, right? I love 'em and I'm thankful I am their mother.

Because each of my girls are unique in their own way, I'm going to give a brief description (you wanna know, right?)

1st: Obviously my first daughter. Basically taught herself to read. Always wants to know everything! She rarely gives me trouble. She's the best older sister her little sisters could ask for. Her birthday is 3 days after mine so we're both Pisces <3 Right now she's reading to Lady J.

Dancer: Is nicknamed so because she loves to entertain. She dancing and loves music. Dancer also have an excellent memory. If she hears something twice, she knows all the words. Right now we're trying to feel our way through school, but we'll get the hang of it. My "wild" child <3

And Lady J: Lady J has a whole stock of nicknames depending on how's she acting. J's spoiled to the core and knows it. Everyone in the house gives in to her. She's cute, tiny and does the most darling things. Trouble's ahead! lol

And there you have it. A glimpse into the makeup of my household. I left my dog son, MJ, out but I'll get to him another day, lol.

Um, I really don't know how to start this. Which is weird because I always have something to say. First I'll start with I'm a 27 (!!!) year old mother of 3 (hooray!). And I've been with my baby father, best friend, provider, and fiance' for 10 years. Before you ask, yes I play Beyonce's "Singles Ladies" to him on the weekends. But really, the date has been set and we're on the course to matrimony next June. So you'll hear about my wedding planning too.

Kids, relationships, wedding planning, Baltimore (yeah I live here), animals *pets my dog MJ*, my Ravens (love football) and yadda yadda yadda. If you found this blog stick around, I'm always a good time ;o)
