Decisions

There's a point in your adult life when you realize that a decision you must make has a huge impact on your future. Other people can offer advice but bottom line, YOU must choose.

I've been fighting my decision. I'm too comfortable, it's too tough, I'm scared blah, blah, triple blah. I need to evolve. Things need to change. I need to change.

I have a stirring inside of me that's growing louder and stronger. I'm resisting the force because it's fighting against who I've became after all this time. It's unnerving, I'm doubting myself. But I have to choose.

Do it.

Don't do it.

I don't know.

Ravens vs Steelers: 23- 20 W

My baby daddies did it! The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Pittsburg Steelers on their home field tonight. I screamed, cried and almost sprain my ankle watching this game.

We are 2-0 against the Steelers this season praise Jill Scott.

Summing up the game:

Pitta: Todd Heeeeeap-like 5 rec 45 yds

Boldin: Clutch receiver, 7 rec 88 yds

T. Smith: Game winning TD!

Flacco: Finally earning his Pizza Hut endorsement

And....

Ray Lewis for best supporting actor for his post game sermon during Flacco's interview.

Amen.

My name is Tierra and I'm a tv addict

I mentioned many, many posts ago about my love for television. I just updated my facebook status stating how many shows I'm recording tonight because of a late Ravens game. The list is over 5 shows.

Housewives of Altanta

Boardwalk Empire

The Walking Dead

Sister Wives

Black Girls Rock

Dexter

Homeland

Whew....

I'm actually thinking about doing tv show recaps on this here blog because I watch enough. I dunno though. It might be too time consuming and interfere with my addiction ;)

Okay back to football.

The day after...

Yesterday was awesomeness in multiple red cups ;) After the historical (and undefeated!) Baltimore Polytechnic Engineers manhandled the un-noble City College Knights, I racewalked to a large tailgating party that had begin at 7 am that morning...

I wasn't alone. Officer and I are highschool sweethearts *swoon* so he was there. And we met up with 3 more classmates after arriving at M&T stadium.

The tailgating section was rocking. Music, free food and free drinks. Yaaas! I reconnected with more classmates ('02 in the house!), did a little two step and we moved to the City side of the party.

Even though City is the enemy AND we had just defeated them on the football field, they can party. Hard. They had bartenders mixing drinks, a live a@$ dj and people dancing for their lives. We spent the remainer of our time there. Even on the City side I still saw people I knew because Baltimore is oh so small.

After more than enough drinks and two near potty accidents, I took the long walk to the car giving Officer time to hang with his boys. I was between sleeping off the alcohol and updating facebook statuses when Officer returned. He suggested the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and I was ALL for it lol.

A brilliant day turned into a fun night. It totally took me back to my high school days until... I saw some kids walking around with Class of 2012 shirts. I'm getting old :/

Conversations with my daughters

Today me and my older daughter  watched Fatal Attractions, a show about people who owned big cats, i.e. tigers, lions etc.

One of the owners was defending the right to have these big cats in possession. Unfortunately he had a lazy eye.

My daughter: What's wrong with his eye? Did the tiger move it?

Me: LUUUUUUUUUUU

Daughter: Ma, seriously, if he was at the door, would you open it?

Me: *collapses and slides off the couch

Purple Friday!

Baltimore Ravens fans you know what it do! Today is Purple Friday, the day we show our Ravens pride by sporting all purple or player jerseys.

All trash talk begins today about stealing the Steelers in the mouths. I'm awaiting Sunday where my boys shut the Steelers out on their own turf.

I proclaim a Ravens victory. Score prediction, hmmm.... 20/7.

Who wants to make a friendly bet?
