Damn, Damn, Damn!
*Punches the air*
The Baltimore Ravens lost to the New England Patriots. The Patriots didn't win, we defeated ourselves. Or better yet our kicker Billy Cundiff and wide receiver Lee Evans handed Brady a ticket to the Superbowl.
Yes, Lee Evans didn't secure the winning reception but Cundiff had an opportunity to tie the game and take it to overtime. I was on the edge of my seat because hey he's 28/37 kicker. And sure enough he kicked that ball so far left that it came back to the other side :/
The lost was so disrespectful. My boys PLAYED. Defensive prevented Tom Brady from throwing any touchdowns and all the Patriots points had to be earned. Lardarius Webb is a monster, Dennis Pitta has hands of gold and Boldin played like the veteran he is. Last but definitely not least, our quarterback Joe Flacco played an awesome game. He dodged sacks, made plays, RAN and completed passes. Cheers for that.
I was in shock for at least an hour after the game. I just couldn't believe we were thisclose to making it to the Superbowl and someone's leg prevented my boys from going. Ugh!
There's always next year. And Ray Lewis and Ed Reed said they're not going anywhere. Thank God for that.
