I gots me a job! I'm working for a past employer. One that I left say, 4 years ago. The kicker is I didn't have to interview for it at all. I spoke with a hiring manager a week ago and he said he had to call corporate to make sure I left on good times. He was suppose to call back that same afternoon but after a week went by with no word from him, I moved on to the next.
And then today....
A call. An apology for not calling back and then a job offer. A one minute phone call erased six months of stress from being unemployed. Whew.
I've given myself a challenge though. I will become manager in five months. I'm a good salesperson and it can be done.
